After accessing the Xiaohongshu mini-program, merchants can realize the closed-loop transaction of “all-in-one shop” in Xiaohongshu.

The announcement indicates that it is expected that at the end of November this year, all businesses can apply for the internal test. In mid-December, all businesses can apply to the close beta test. After accessing the Xiaohongshu mini-program, merchants can realize the closed-loop transaction of “all-in-one shop” in Xiaohongshu.

The two platforms plan to jointly launch an e-commerce solution based on the Xiaohongshu mini-program. Businesses can quickly access Xiaohongshu without developing extra features, and can use the tools equipped in the app to connect with targeting customers.

Xiaohongshu has over 100 million monthly active users and 43 million content creators. The platform is known for its product recommendation feature, which can help businesses to promote their brands through creative content.
Businesses on Youzan can tag their brands and add hash tags on the articles on Xiaohongshu once the connection is established, so that users can directly find the product page by clicking the tags.

At the same time, both merchants and influencers can use the live streaming service to generate sales on the mini program. The mini program shortens the transaction link and will greatly improve the efficiency of commodity conversion.

In October 2020, Youzan supported its affiliated Meiye stores to access the Xiaohongshu professional account, enabling online reservations for services such as nails, eyelashes, and hairdressing on Xiaohongshu. The closed-loop transaction has driven traffic through content creation and attracted well-known nail art brands InNail, Miss color, and other popular brands.

The cooperation between two platforms will enable more industries including cosmetics, food and local brands to connect with customers.

Youzan recommends businesses to open their Xiaohongshu professional account before posting content on the platform in order to maximize the use of their inputs and to ensure effective operation.
